The elected leadership of District 84
District 84 is led by an elected District Director supported by two appointed trio officers — the Program Quality Director (education and program execution) and the Club Growth Director (new clubs and membership growth). Around the trio, division directors lead each of the six divisions, area directors lead each area, and a slate of appointed chairs and managers handle specific functions across the district.

Each year, the District Executive Committee (DEC) — trio + division directors + appointed officers — runs the district. Most district roles serve a single program year (July 1 through June 30) and are recruited the spring before they start. The district holds a District Leader Retreat annually to onboard the new team.
District roles are how members move from club-level service into broader leadership. The annual District Leader Candidates process is where the elected trio and division directors are chosen each year. Appointed roles — chairs, managers, the Education Team — are recruited directly by the Program Quality Director and Club Growth Director.
