The Annual Education Program is the Program Quality Director's plan for the program year — the calendar of education events, the year's training focus, and the resources the District will offer members between July 1 and June 30.
What the plan covers
- TLI scheduling for both rounds (summer and winter).
- Pathways support — including any specific district pushes (new path launches, pathway-completion challenges).
- Speech contest calendar — club contests through district finals.
- Education sessions — the year's planned workshops on topics like evaluation, mentoring, advanced communication, and leadership.
- Moments of Truth pushes — when area directors will run guided self-assessments with their clubs.
- Recognition milestones — when the District publishes DCP standings, Notable 9 / Incredible 20 winners, Seven of Seven recipients, and Super Star points.
Who builds the plan
The Program Quality Director leads the planning, working with the Education Team (Education, Pathways, and Trainers Academy chairs) and the other PQD chair teams (Speech Contests, Conference, MOT, and Club Ambassadors). The plan is finalized in June and published shortly after.
How to find the current plan
The current program year's Annual Education Program is published each July. For the most recent version, contact the Program Quality Director — see the Leadership page for current contact information.
Why it matters to clubs
The District's education calendar drives a lot of what clubs do during the year — when officers train, when contests run, when DCP milestones are due. Reading the Annual Education Program at the start of the year saves clubs from being surprised mid-year.
